Candy Sherwin has been teaching at Borderline since 1995. She has a wealth of dance and theatre experience that she brings with her as the club’s lead instructor. She has been involved in the LA country western scene since the early 90’s teaching at Denim and Diamonds, Golden Spur, Neon Moon, and InCahoots, not to mention scores of private events, dance festivals, line dance cruises, television and videos. When Candy is not wearing her cowboy boots, you can find her choreographing Musical Theatre productions and teaching ballet, jazz, and musical theatre at the Performing Arts Center in Van Nuys, and CSUN’s Teenage Drama Workshop. Candy is known for her expertise in breaking down the movement in her 2-step and line dance classes, in a way that all levels can understand, while trying to keep a smile on everyone’s face. She feels more than blessed to be able to share her passion for dance and music with so many.
