Kristal Lynn has been dancing and performing since the age of three in the areas of ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and country dance. She is proud to call Thousand Oaks her hometown and enjoys her passion for dance, choreography, and country music. After a trip to Dallas and auditioning for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders in 2008 and making it to semifinals, she began her training in country dance at Borderline and fell in love with teaching line dancing.
Kristal Lynn has been teaching dance for over fifteen years at local dance studios and venues in Southern California including hosting her own dance workshops, instructing at private parties, weddings, local band performances, and other events, and has also hosted and taught at the Conejo Valley Days Country Western Night, the Central Coast Country Dance Event in Solvang, CA, and the 2016 LA Live RoundUp in downtown Los Angeles. She is also featured on the BorderlineDance.com website and enjoys competing in dance competitions and attending line dance conventions to meet other choreographers around the world.
Kristal Lynn has currently been Borderline’s resident Wednesday night dance instructor for over three years and enjoys dancing at the bar on her nights off. She has choreographed several of her own line dances which are played regularly at the bar and are taught across the country, including Timber and Dirty Laundry. Performing, dancing, and bringing her love of dance and choreography to her students and friends are her biggest passions. See y’all on the dance floor!
